2021年,サーフィンが初めて正式種目となった東京オリンピックで銅メダル獲得の快挙。

神奈川県藤沢市育ち。父親と兄の影響で、11歳からサーフィンを始める。
2017年、16歳よりWSLの試合に出場する為、世界を転戦し始め、同年、WSLジュニア「Ichinomiya Isumi Pro Junior Surfing Governor’s Cup」で初優勝を飾る。
2019年、オリンピック会場でもある釣ヶ崎海岸で開催された「WSL QS1000 Ichinomiya Chiba Open」で、QS初優勝。

同年9月、スペインで行われた「WSL QS10000 ABANCA Galicia Classic Surf Pro」にて、日本人女子初の優勝。

11月には、台湾で行われた「2019 WSL World Junior Championship」で、初出場にしてアジア人初の、WSLワールドジュニアチャンピオンとなる快挙を成し遂げた。

また、2019年9月の「ABANCA Galicia Classic Surf Pro」の優勝により、一気に世界ランキングを上げ、2020年、（WSLに変更以降）日本人女子初となるWCTへのクオリファイを果たすことになる。

現在は、湘南と千葉を拠点に活動をしており、ワールドタイトルを目標に益々成長を続けている。

Grew up in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Influenced by her father and older brother, she started surfing at the age of 11.

In 2017, at the age of 16, she began traveling around the world to compete in WSL competitions, and in the same year, she won her first WSL junior "Ichinomiya Isumi Pro Junior Surfing Governor's Cup".

In 2019, she won her first QS at the "WSL QS1000 Ichinomiya Chiba Open" held at Tsurigasaki Beach, which is also the Olympic venue.

In September of the same year, she became the first Asian woman to win the "WSL QS10000 ABANCA Galicia Classic Surf Pro" held in Spain.

In November of the same year, she achieved the feat of becoming the first Asian to become the WSL World Junior Champion in her first appearance at the "2019 WSL World Junior Championship" held in Taiwan .Raised in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Under the influence of his father and older brother, he started surfing at the age of 11.
